BOOOOOOOOOOO

OMG, my dishwasher broke last night! It was definitely on its way out, but it is DONE FOR now. According to my FMIL, it's some super expensive swedish dishwasher (asko is the brand) but it was here when we bought the house so who knows how old it is. I just had to drop $700 on a new one

oh no!!!

well at least you know you wont need another for a liong time!

omggggggg that would be so beyond fantastic.

i was going to buy a really cheapie one but then i started looking at consumer reports and realized i should go for one that is maybe more midpriced b/c i want something that works now and will work in two years from now!!!

the one i got was around $500 but then after delivery and installation it's like an additional $200!!!

omg!! !that stinks!!!!!!

yeah - they really screw you on that part - delivery/installation & the install is REAL simple...

is it really simple? i was totally thinking me and FH can do it, but then i was worried b/c if we screw it up, we REALLY don't want to pay to fix it after being surprised with having to pay for the dishwasher in the first place!

I have a Willandkerri brand dishwasher.
it gets the job done!

sorry about yours... i don't even remember what life was like with a REAL dishwasher.

I definitely considered buying all paper plates/plastic cups and utencils instead of the dishwasher, but then realized that we have that STAR refund coming so I might as well put it to use.

That stinks! I hate unexpected expenses! But just keep thinking about the fact- you won't have to wash any yourself! It's so worth it! My dishwasher is my best friend!!!
