Oh I sooo can't wait!!
we are staying at Moorea Pearl Resort and Spa and Bora Bora Le Maitai Polynesia.
The Bora Bora hotel is a 3 star and the other one is a 4 star. We sacraficed a 4 or 5 star hotel in Bora Bora for a lesser price. I mean it's still expensive and the hotel is still supposed to be amazing. I've read lots of reviews on it. I just wanted to be able to go there!! And I really wanted a full 2 weeks there and didn't want to pay like $20,000 for it!!!! So we did good!! thanks to the TA I found!! I'm soooo excited and can't wait to go!!!! It really is nice to have something huge like that to look forward to for after the wedding is over.

That is really an amazing price. Did it include food too? I know the food there is supposed to be crazy expensive!

There was a plan that included breakfast and maybe lunch. But we chose the stay 5 pay 3. So we chose to stay longer and pay less to do it and forgo the food. We plan on not eating!!! hahaha!! seriously!! We don't like seafood at all!!! But yea I heard that as well. I think it's less expensive to go into town and eat at a local place instead of at the hotel. Also, make sure you stop at a grocery store and pic up things to keep in your room.. otherwise the prices to buy things at the hotel are just supposed to be jaw dropping!!

We tried Chloe (who Kerri used), but got some better pricing, at least based on our weeks, from a travel agent who is an American woman that now lives in Moorea. Breakfast is included at our hotels - we are staying at Moorea Pearl and Intercontinental Le Moana in Bora Bora.
Since she lives there, she has tons of local suggestoins, too.
Tell her Tracey from LI weddings gave you her name.

Re: Bora Bora (South Pacific) - Travel Agent
I heard about that gal Laurel and she seemed to know Tahiti. But my fiance was really leary about using a travel agent who is based outside the USA. I would check to see if the insurance you buy will cover a package purchased outside the USA. Just don't know how things would work out if something went wrong. Also her prices fluctuated because of the exchange rate. We just felt more comfortable with an American Express agency in the US.
cheers!

We researched her, and one of my friends used her two years ago with no issues. We like the idea of having someone there, local who can help us if need be. Will let you know how it works out!
