I chose 48 4+8=12 48/12 is 4, the symbol for 4 was not the one that it showed me. Unless I did it incorrectly. Please let me know

You're supposed to subtract 12 from 48, not divide.

I guess it does work, but now we know the secret. I noticed that, a lot of the same symbols appear on the board a lot, too funny.
