I think I overloaded on wedding stuff. I'm kinda bummed out. I did a lot of the planning the first few months but then got thrown off w/the holidays and since Thanksgiving, I am hardly ever on this site anymore.
I feel really lazy and have no 'umf' anymore. Has this happened to anyone? I even addressed our Save The Dates months ago though we can't actually send them for like another few months.
Our wedding isn't until November and I just feel like I'm over it. Ha ha! Anyone know what I mean? I'm sure I'm the only freak here.

Awww its ok to have a lull....when there is so much time to plan this happens. I was really busy in the beginning when i got engaged...then slowed, then picked up again at the 10 month mark when i ordered dresses...then i stopped and now its almost 5 months away and i feel like i have so much to do! you'll get back into it...

I actually went through a lull as well... I didn't even post much either for much of Sept and Oct... but it worked out then, because when I had time to get some things done, I got right back into it again! Don't worry, you'll be fine! You just get to a point where you've done everything you need to do, and people get sick of listening to you talk about the wedding! It happens!

no its not you! i feel like i got a ton of stuff done right after being engaged and now am spinning my wheels getting nowhere......or not doing anything at all. i have a ton of stuff i could get finalized...but just can't commit to it

Speaking of 'Commit' one of the girls mentioned. This is so true. I don't want to officially pick out BM dresses or invites. I don't know what my problem is. I keep flip-flopping back and forth from this to that and can't decide on anything. Seriously!

ally--it's totally not you!! i went through the same thing and am just coming out of it. seriously, there were about 2 months when just the thought of making a decision would lead me to taking a nap. it will change as your date gets closer...for now, just enjoy the 'time off' :)

I was totally going to say the same thing. Now that I am less than 3 months away ( ) it's coming back. I am getting my invites ready to go out, maybe that's why?

completely! once i realized it's '08 and i had to make firm decisions about things like invites, i got more excited about the wedding and the planning again. don't get me wrong, we looked at our wedding expenses last night and i still wanted to take a nap, but the closer it gets, the more exciting it is!!
congrats on getting your invites done! i can't wait to send mine out!

As a MOB, my enthusiasm is feeling like you. Debi started doing the Save The Dates, and stopped because they have to get more addresses, before they can finish. It seems like everything is moving in v e r y s l o w m o t i o n, right now. Mary MOB
