boston for halloween?

has anyone been in boston for/during halloween?

is it crazy? do they have parades, etc?

thinking of going during that time...and i dont really wanna get caught up in craziness (family vacay)

I went to college in Boston. Fanueil Hall / Quincy Market is AWESOME during Halloween
