Did any past bride use wine bottle stoppers as place card holders? If so, can you please post pics? I would like to see some ideas.
I have seen some on the internet, but I am unsure as to where the actual placecard would go on the bottle stopper and how the item would be placed on the placecard table (i.e., standing or laying flat).

This is one idea, but I don't know if they should lay flat on the table or be somehow standing.
I saw (a long time ago on LIW) this idea. Haven't been able to find it anywhere. The closest I found was a woman on Ebay who bundles corks (her screen name is judbags) and these cute buckets from Bed Bath and Beyond.
i would assume they're laying down, which i think would look better anyway. you could lay then all diagonal like in the picture you posted and cover a whole table. i think that'd look great! =0) good luck!
