In response to this.. First off why is it even being brought up in the first place? I have numerous times posted what Gawf means to anyone who asks.. It doesnt stand for anything except that its short for a nickname that me and Gina have called each other for years...I don't call her Gina ever..I call her Gawf.
I have no idea what is going on lately on the boards but its out of control!
Someone wrote to you about what 'PB' means and this 'Gawf comment' followed after so Im taking it that we are being dragged into this whole convo and honestly I dont appreciate it...
I have been nothing but nice to everyone on this site. Im on this site to plan my wedding and support and get help from fellow brides to be and thats all!
I was just about to say that..I'm only on really at night, but when I am I say what it is and you do too when we're asked! I'm sorry if it's confusing just a shortened word for 'GIRLFRIEND'..and it became a title/ name when we became so close..
as I said before on here, you can't ear tone of voice when things are typed so yes it sounds as if everyone is attacking everyone right now..

It's clear that not all of us like each other- whether it just be for the simple 'thrill' of starting drama or because some don't like what others do or the words they use on the boards. Let's not try to FORCE everyone to be one happy family- because it isn't realistic with the hell raisers on here.
BOTW really shouldn't be an issue like this. It is supposed to be a fun- whatever- type of thing- not a chance to make a stand against what has been done for years. It isn't a popularity contest. Stop taking it so seriously. It is impossible to make EVERYONE happy.
I think we may need some type of Mean Girls intervention perhaps.
ITA with you Heather what is going on with these boards what was just said about Gina that is something her and her B/f call eachother it seems like they were being talked about thats the way I took it Like Jamie said this isnt a popularity contest I picked my date twin when I was BOTW I had only been on here posting for a few weeks I didnt really know anybody and Jamie was one of the first people to reach out to me

You didnt do anything!! IMO you shouldnt have to defend being friends with your best friend nor should you have to apologize for loving weddings.

Gina just like u said, I want to beleive that the problem here is a ear-tone-of-voice and not people taking things the wrong way. U don't need to defend ur friendship with Michelle, especially to me (if that was ur intention) because I'm not attacking u or ANY other person, just like many other brides, I was wondering what gawf meant because it was used in several threads and sometimes it was hard to follow the topic. it was said that the meaning of the word was given, I must have overlooked it because I've never seen it.

lets do a hater of the week... i nominate myself! i hate bridesmaids, my dress that i dont fit into, my photog, my non-existant bm dresses, my budget, sometimes everyone, working, giving up wine to lose weight, and this week everything to do with my wedding
i can pass the crown on to another hater next week jk... just trying to lighten things up

Look, at the end of the day we don't have to like each other but what we need to do is respect each other. So the backhanded comments and digs need to stop, from everyone. That's not what thgis site is for. If you want to argue with someone, get theur email address. Don't air your effing laundry on a site intended for brides to talk about weddings. we are all adults and its about damn time we start acting like it.

i think its a bad week for me to be bride of the week with all the drama surrounding it
ive done nothing but try to be nice and help everyone and this is just too out of hand
