BOTW Question: 'I Love you'

Who said I love you first, and how long were you dating?

I'll start:

He said it after 2 1./2 months of dating when he was drunk :)

After one month of dating, he surprised me at work to come outside. And he had a card for me to open with a separate envelope. The card was last to read, and he opened the envelope and out came rose petals. And he read 'He loves you, He loves you not, and he continued to about 6 and said 'He Loves you' and told me he loves me so much and couldn't imagine his life without me in it! I grabbed him, hugged and kissed him and said I love you too, so much much!

He said it first. We hadn't decided we were dating.... I had asked him last minute to the jr. prom (had just broken up with the boyfriend I'd bought the tixx to go with). We'd had our first kiss a week before. I called him the day after the prom (his birthdyay) to wish him a happy birthday and he blurted out 'I love you'...he swears he meant it.

We had been talking about this feeling we both were having and I don't think either of us were prepared for it considering it had only been 1-2 months of dating. I remember one night we were laying in bed together and I could tell something was off because he was acting weird and he finally opened up and said 'i love you'. Who knew 3 words could make a guy so crazy

aww such a good post!

FH and I were going out on 'dates' for about 5 months before we started dating when I was asked out by another guy. While I was out with the other guy at dinner he text me and said I needed to come over ASAP and he told me he loved me

We started dating that night and it's been true love ever since! (and he said I love you at 1:43AM!)

He did...
I met him right after he just got out of his first serious relationship, so for the first 6 months we casually dated. He then said it a few weeks after we became 'official'

We met in Nov, became official in Dec, and I said I love you first in February...I told him not to say it back because I wanted him to say it when it was right and not because I said it. I think it was about a month later when we said it (neither one of us actually remembers when he said it for the first time LOL)

I said it first probably within a week of dating. When I know I just know and can't help saying it. He was taken back a bit since I was his only girlfriend. I can't remember when he said it back to me though.

he said it first, it slipped out while at the bar over a bucket of beers. i knew it was coming for a while now and i was just waiting for him to say it. and in my usually sometimes ditzy self i said something silly and stupid and he looked at me,laughed and just said 'ooo baby i love you' and then you saw his face do the 'o sh!t it slipped' lol and i just kept yelling 'i heard that, i heard that'

all of our sweet moments always seems to be more of a comedy act lol we can never just be serious, cant wait to see what happens at the wedding lol

he said it 1st & i think it was after about a week!

I was a complete butt at the time & had my guard up so I waited a little longer to say it!

There was a inside joke that i had with the FH ......( my mom said to me if i love him ) so we would say that thing my mom said ...we would joke about it and he said after 6 months or so that he love me!!!!!

He did, but I was thinking it for quite sometime! We started 'dating in October, became 'official' in January (whatever that means, nothing changed!), and on Cinco de Mayo he said it as we were getting hot and heavy and he was pretty drunk. I told him, 'Please don't say that just because you're drunk!' and he told me, 'No, I mean it.' Of course I said it back and he proceeded to pass out mid-BJ (TMI?)... LOL I still tease him about it today.

I said it first to him about 5 or 6 months into dating. He said it back to me 1 months later on christmas even with his family. I was bummed when he didn't say it back, but appreciated the fact that he didn't take the word lightley and wanted to make sure that those were his true feelings.

ugh, I did. FH was my first serious relationship, but it wasn't his first. I said it and he said 'I really care about you, but I'm just not there yet'. After turning five shades of red I stammered out something about meaning that I loved him 'as a friend'. Very embarrassing. I waited until he said it (our 6 month anniversary) before saying it again. Now he tells me he loves me a hundred times a day!
