BOTW Question: 'I Love you'

Hi Ladies,

i am the new bride of the week... I wasn't really sure what this entails, but let's go with it!

My first question is the 'I love you'

Who said it first?
How/where did you/he say it?
How long were you dating?

I'll start. We had been dating about 2 months, and he said it first at a bar... when he was wasted. But the cute thing was, he asked me if i still was going to love him in the morning :)

It's a long story but the short version is I had a 'Friends' moment - when Ross said it to Rachel at the airport and she said thank you!

FH said it to me as he was leaving my apartment one night for the first time and I just didn't hear him - or at least I didn't think i did b/c I didn't think he would say it so soon into the relationship. So b/c I wasn't sure my reply was 'thank you' LOL

Later on - outside a bar in NYC he said it again and I heard it and said it back LOL

I said it first (also the first time I told someone I loved them before they said it to me!)

We were at our friend's house in MTK for NYE and before the ball dropped we were talking about how 2009 would be a great year, etc. etc. and I just whispered in his ear something about how I was in love with him. And the next morning he whispered in my ear that he was going to marry me someday.

We were dating for 3 months.

we were in the car one day when he was dropping me off at home and when i was about to step out for some reason i slipped and said 'i love you' and we had only been dating for like maybe 1 month...
i was like and he was like its ok have a great night....
so then a few days later...we were texting back and forth while we were at work and he used to pick me up from my job all the time so we could grabdinner after and he texted me and said 'guess what' it was the end of the day right before i got out of work and he never wrote back.
i leave to go home and he was waiting for me with 2 dozen roses outside of my job and i said wow, so why did you say 'guess what?' and he said guess what, i love you.

He said it first.

While we were..umm..doing the deed

It was after about a month of being exclusive.

He said it first

oops ... I'm at work and this thing just screwed up and wouldn't let me edit ...

We were dating for about 6 weeks, FH just met some of my family. We stepped out for a minute, took a drive to 7-11, for what, I forget ... He was looking at me funny the whole time, and here I am, thinking I have something on my face. I ask 'WHAT?!?' and finally, he speaks! He tells me how he has something to say, but didn't want to scare me away. I finally convince him that there's really not much he can do to scare me away, so he leaned over, kissed me and says 'I'm totally falling in love with you'.

AWWWWWWWWW!!!!!

He said it first after about 2 months of offically dating but 6 months together

We were on his couch watching a movie and he said i have to tell you something but i dont know how you will react and then told me he loved me

He said it first. He first told me he was falling for me after our 2nd date. And he officially told me he loved me, a week later. I guess when you know, you just know.

He said it first over the phone the Friday after Thanksgiving 2008 and he was a little tipsy. He was visiting his dad and CT and he said I missed you so much, I love you.

It was sweet. I think I said it when he came back.

It was similar for me too FH said he was falling in love with me on our 2nd date. At first it freaked me out as being too soon but that was 5 1/2 years ago.

I said it first....but a couple of days later at a bar he said 143....I said what the efffff is 143 - he's like you never had a beeper???/ ummmm no - finally he had to explain - I'm like you couldn't just say it???? It took to long the moment was over!

Then one boardy barn Sunday I got super drunk and he picked me up and I told him I loved him....the next day he made fun of me we laughed and then I bought him a card and told him I really did love him, we hugged and kissed and lived happily ever after!

Girls prior to DH why do u think got th nickname MTK (Melissa the kiss a) friggin boardy barn beer!!! makes u do and say silly things but it def worked in my favor!!!!

Oh, I remember those Barn days ... It's amazing I never got mono ...

Holy crap I just laughed so loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I said it first and didn't again for many months until he did. I fell for him early on and although I thought he did he waited until my birthday andput it in the card.

To this day when I ask, he says he knew from the start but is not so easy to give the words up! Lol
