Has anyone done or plans to do boudior pics for their FH? I'm really interested in doing this and would like a recommendation for a photographer and maybe an estimate on the price. I really want a woman photographer. Thanks!

Our photographer, Lina Jang, probably does them. I know that some of the pics on her web page are similar to that style.
^^ wow! i'd be mortified if i was in those pics and anyone besides FH saw them! pretty steamy!

Wow - I just did a google search b/c I had no idea what this was... I like one pic I saw where rose petals cover you (especially your privates), but I'm not sure if FH would appreciate me stripping down for a photographer, he may get weirded out. Maybe on our HM I can get some petals and have my digital camera handy and he can have fun playing photographer instead...
Not sure I'd want my kids to find those pics one day when FH and I are passed. I know - it's a crazy thing to think of.

I have a couple of getting ready photos that are almost boudoir shots. I did not know they were being taken but just sort of knew the day was being documented by our photojournalist photographers.
I don't think I'd be able to pose for boudoir shots though.
When we went to see our proofs I recall shots of me undressed that sort of upset DH. Not really because it was taken but because, although two women were with us shooting the women, a man was with DH and the guys and the man was going through the proofs with us and he had probably seen those shots over and over when doing any editing work.

I think my FH would like them. I can do tasteful but sexy shots. I don't want to be butt naked. They are really popular on theknot.com. I seen some really nice ones that aren't too risque just very sexy. I wouldn't be too shy as long as the photographer was a woman. I did get a quote from Grey Dog Photography and I think I might go with them for my E-pics and boudior pics. Erica is really nice and always replies quickly. She is also very informative and helpful in her emails. I'm waiting to hear back from 12th night and Duet, I emailed them. Since I'm going away to get married I want to have really nice pics done here before.

I would love to have SIB or Angelica Glass but I believe they are out of my price range.

Tony Yang does really awesome pics and he is VERY reasonable. My friend and one of her really good friends did pics with him and when I saw them my jaw dropped. He's all about you being comfortable, so if you want other people in the room with you, that's fine with him. In addition, he says you can wear whatever you want that makes you feel good about yourself. He told me he tries to take pics from the 'boyfriend perspective'. I got quoted $250 for 2 hours, CD and online photos provided. He's in NJ, and can shoot in his studio or wherever you want. My friend had him come out to Manhattan to her apartment and even took some pics with her husband! I really like his work, and I almost did some of myself, but FH is waay too jealous and I'm waay too chicken

Wow those Tony Yang pictures look very nice and TASTEFUL. Maureen, can you post when you hear back from 12th night and Duet? Where would you take the pictures?

Duet quoted me $400 and 12th night quoted me between $250-550. You take them in your house. Thanks for the recommendations but I have found my photographer and I'm taking them on the 22nd

I'm using Grey Dog for my wedding. They were so nice and friendly I never saw another vendor.
