hey there..just wanted to give an update on my boudior expereince since so many people have sent me FM about it. Just want to clarify that I didn't do anything crazy that you might think of when you think of Boudior pics...of course some were sexy and outside of what I thought my comfort zone would have been but...I know that when I was trying to find examples of some so that I had an idea of what to expect, I felt like I was looking at cheap Por*. I thought to myself that if I ever had them done, I could never show anyone without them taking a vow of silence:) So my point is that if you want to do something like pics for your future husband or just for yourself, you can tone them down...I look at them and I see myself in a way that I'm not ashamed of ..I've actually been able to show them to people without having them wear a blind fold before hand:) You can totally have fun with them and the result will be amazing pics that you can feel good about...anyway sorry this is so long but I just wanted to share since so many people just like myself seem to have a fear of the B word..good luck!

I love the idea, but if you dont mind me asking what do you plan on doing with the pictures. I want to do it, before we start having a family but I'm not sure what to do with the pics.

well as happy as I am with them...they wont be up on any wall I'll tell you that much...a girl has to have some secrets..haha
seriously though, I'm planning on having a book made up for my future hub...that way he can look at them and when I'm old and wrinkled I can look at them and say 'wow I guess there was a time when I didn't look half bad:)' I guess you could hang them up, but I just like the idea of having them for ourselves in a nice album of sorts.

if you don't mind me asking.. how do you go about finding a photographer for the B pics? I really want to do them, but I'm petrified that I'll get a shady photographer and my pics will look trashy..

You will see some familliar names up there, Angelica glass, blue daisy, something in blue.
I used bluedaisy for mine, and made a 4x6 album for FH. I think half of my excitement for our wedding day is that I can give him is present.

I'm so glad to hear you had such a great experience! It's usually what happens...the bride to be goes in wanting to do this for her FI but it ends up a liberating experience for herself.

if you're not comfortable with a man doing them, there are female photographers who also do them
I know angelica glass and maryann of bluedaisy both do them and im sure there are others

PP is right. I know some brides who used male photogs who they loved, but did not feel comfortable enough to do certain poses they had in mind...
That's why I love being a female...I get that extra advantage lol

I had mine done at Patken..and although I worried about the same issues, having a male photographer, he was extremely comfortable to be in front of and very professional. I think you should at least check out Patken...nothing to lose by just talking to them....good luck with your experience.
