Bought My 2nd Dress
So, a bunch of you probably saw my crazy rant about how I was really unhappy with my dress...
I bought one that I love for half the price of the original one at Beautiful Bride. They were so kind...the owner even looked out for me by saying that if I wanted, I could bring in the first one to see if they could alter it in some way so that I wouldn't have to buy another dress... She said that they have two people who do fantastic alterations (and that wedding gown alterations are a dying art, etc...). Also, the woman who originally took care of me told the owner that my mother passed away a few years ago. The owner told me that one thing they do for free is to embroider girls' mothers' names into the sides of their gowns, if they've lost their moms. She made sure to tell me that of course it was only if I wanted it, and that she believes she'll be there beside me anyway.
And this time I really felt like it was MY dress...so I just thought I'd share :)
Now, I just have to figure out where to sell the first one!!
