Bought my headpiece!
Found it at Tri-County (yet another great reccommendation from the ladies on this site--never would have thought about going there with out your advice!
). It is very simple--thin headband with rhinestones shaped in diamond pattern. I will make sure it looks good with how I want to wear my hair when I go for trial in a few weeks. Best of all, it cost $24.00
Thanks again to those who reccommended going there!!

Re: Bought my headpiece!
That's where I want to go! Did you get from the older man & his wife? I forget the name of the booth-it's right when you walk in from the hempstead trpke entrance
my mom used to work for him back in the 70's--he's so sweet!

Re: Bought my headpiece!
The booth I bought it from was close to the back entrance. It had a ton of costumy (is that a word?) type jewelry, hair clips, etc. The headpieces they sold were displayed behind the counter. Just ask the owners to go back there an try on what you like. The owners are a very sweet Asian couple. Good luck! there is also another counter just as you come in the main Hemp. Tpke entrance. There were a few I liked at that one too--all GREAT prices!

Re: Bought my headpiece!
Take Wantagh Pkway to Hempstead Tpke East and it is right there (on the north side of Hempstead Tpke). I think they are only open Thursday-Sunday if I am correct. Sat and Sun 12-6 definately.

Re: Bought my headpiece!
Hi! I just sent you an email, but here it goes again: I would love to have the name and address of the store where you got your headpiece ... I am still trying to find something simple but nice to wear, and your comment about their place sounded like the right place to go.Thanks a million,
Elena
