bought my shoes tonight....question

Girls,

I just bought a beautiful pair of black lace pumps as my wedding shoes. I normally wear a size 8 1/2, but when I tried on that size, they were really snug and I don't think they'd accomodate any swelling of my feet towards the end of the wedding day.

I ended up buying a size 9, and I have insoles in them currently, but they are still a bit loose. Should I have bought the 8 1/2? I don't think the material can be stretched at all.

How loose? You cant adjust loose shoes much except w the insoles. You dont want them sliding and rubbing all day. Return them, buy the snug ones and bring them to a shoe repair place to see if they can be stretched

They are a little loose in the heel on the right foot still with insoles, but are OK on left foot.
