Bought my veil!!!

Bought my veil today!!!! I went with the cathedral length, plain cut edge....they're going to customize it a little so that it's standard width on the bottom (to cover the train of my dress), but then much thinner at the comb so that it's sheer and not super poofy. I also really liked the veils with the cascading sides...but I wanted mine to fall straight down and back.

Thanks for all the input girls! I'm going to wear it during my shoot with my fake dress, just to see how I like it...plus I love the photos of the veil blowing in the wind!

thanks!! oh...that's not exactly my dress...I have the strapless version. But the beading is the same.

So pretty! Are you getting it from Kathy at Occansey Designs (obridal.com)???

I am getting a VERY similar custom cathedral made by her - 110' long, cut edge, 25' wide at the comb and 72' wide at the bottom. I'm adding the cathedral layer under my fingertip veil, so I really didn't want it to be poofy AT ALL so this works great.

YEAH! Yours is almost exactly the same except 2 inches longer! She was such a great help...i emailed her pics of my dress and gave her an idea of what I wanted . She emailed over all these pics of veils she thought would work....and helped me decide how long they should be and how to customize it.

So we'll have almost identical veils! She's so easy to work with too and very nice. I have to finalize my order with her! So much stuff to do, so little time
