Bouquet Dedication to grandmother ....Help!
I plan on dedicating my bouquet to my grandmother but can't write worth a flip. Does anyone have any poems or dedication wording that I could work with? I am so nervous about reading it too (I am very emotional and would cry I'm sure). Do you think it is bad taste to have the band read it? Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

I'm doing this too and I didn't even think of anything to
write yet. The thing is with me, my grandmother speaks mostly Italian and some English - so I don't know what I'm saying yet. I know how you feel with being nervous and crying - I think I will be too. I think it is best if you do it, versus the band, if you can muster up the courage. That is what I am going to do. I want to say something to the effect of how I hope that Rob and I will be married as long as she and my grandfather are, plus, my grandma never had a wedding, so I wanted this moment to be hers - I think I am going to have her and my grandpa dance to a song at this point! Through the Years, by Kenny Rogers! :-) I'm going to cry already!

Everytime I think of what I am going to say I start getting teary eyed. Your ideas are great and with the dance I think all you guests will be crying too. My grandfather is no long with us or I would use your idea too. I hope I can pull together and say it myself. Thanks for all your help.

Bouquet Dedication to grandmother ....Help!
we dedicated bouquets to our grandmothers and we just had the band make an announcement and we both walked over to each grandmother and presented the bouquet. We were going to have my husband dance with his grandma & I with my grandpa, but decided that since they are both elderly, it might not be a great idea. It worked out beautifully & they were both very touched. We did it right after cake cutting so everyone was still paying attention to us & they got the spotlight for a moment. We didn't really say anything ourselves b/c there were SOOO many speeches & we also wrote a poem to read to our parents - enough was enough!! :-) good luck!
