Bouquet toss and garter

Im undecided if ill be doing these i want more time for dancing but its tradition so not sure. What are you ladies doing?

We did an anniversary dance instead of the garter/bouquet toss. I gave my throw away bouquet and a bottle of wine to the couple that was married that longest! Becasue my crowd was older, mostly everyone was married and I'm not really into the toss either!

we did it and it was fun....well maybe memorable is a better word...my toss broke the chandelier! but everyone had fun and it will not be forgotten!
the garter toss was a last minute thing that DH decided to do and it turned into a lot of fun...im glad we did both

we did both and it was so much fun... whenever i go to a wedding that doesn't have at least one, i feel like something is missing. i'm also a traditionalist when it comes to weddings.

eta: it didn't really take away from the dancing or break up the night, it took all of 5 mins to do both

We are doing both. One of those things you grow up waiting for. You always practice throwing the bok when playing bride....and it will be the only time you get to do it!

I did both and I wouldn't have done it differently. I love the pics and even though most up there were in the mid/late 20 and son 30's it was fun and I would never have the chance to do it again it maybe took 10 minute total to do but pics are priceless

FH an I are doing both. We are looking forward to this tradition and everyone in my family loves when it is time for the bouquet and garter toss. Out of all the weddings my family has had, It did not take away from dancing. We still had a great time !

def doing it, but not making a huge spectacle of it (dont want too much wasted time)
i know some people think it's tacky, but i loooved the bouquet toss before i got engaged!
i already picked out all my songs for this part too
