Boutonniere pins and suit?

Boutonniere pins and suit?

Hi!

Do boutonnieres put holes in the suit/tux? This feels like a silly question...

My fiance just got a gorgeous Hugo Boss suit and he's worried about putting holes in it and damaging it. If it were a rented tux he wouldn't care. The florist said the pin was small, but he's still worried.

I do know when I've worn corsages in the past, they left noticeable pinholes in my dress which I didn't like.

So my fiance would rather have no bout and just a handkerchief.

What do you think?
Thanks!!!

i have seen no bouts in many weddings. A hankie is perfect touch and really don't think anyone would notice the lack of a flower.

dresses are usually made of a thinner material like silk or something which could leave a noticeable pinhole. A Hugo Boss suit is going to be well made and be very thick material.

i wouldn't worry at all.

I think it should be fine...but if not I know they can do magnets instead of pins. You might have to go and buy the magnet but ask your florist to work with you on this.

Good luck!

I definitely dont see the pins putting holes in the suit. If you are worried about it do the hankie instead. Like the PP said you can always try magnets-the only worry with that would be with the hugging and everything else I would be afraid it would keep falling off.
