Boutonniers

Boutonniers

So at the bridal expo last night they did give away some good bridal magazines and I was flipping through them and saw some really cool ideas for boutonniers. We have 8 GMs and I was thinking about doing a different personalized boutonnier for each guy... like we have someone who likes skiing, someone who is into the computers, someone who loves the mets, so on and so forth. So I thought it would be a nice idea to incorporate that into each of their boutonniers.

What do you think? Do you think it would look ok in the pictures? I think it is a small enough detail that it wouldn't look too off or anything...

hmm..how are you planning on incorporating it? idk imo it might look a little random for pics and stuff..what about cufflinks to their interests instead?

I found these on Rosenow Floral Design's site... (one of the same floral designers from the magazine). But I was just thinking something simple. I feel like everyone always makes such a big deal about the bride and all of the girls in the wedding party that it might be nice to do something 'personal' for the guys...

I agree. But if you really love the idea...go for it.

I figured it was a little different and most people would think it was weird... but I think I'm going to try making some and see how they come out.

Re: Boutonniers

if you love it then go for it., in my opinion i think it may look a little weird in pics. and if your guys are wearing black you have to make sure they dont blend in too much

i dont like bouts at all, our groomsman and my FH arent even wearing them so maybe im the wrong person to be answering this lol

I don't like them and would not want those in my pictures but if it doesn't bother you then whats the harm??

I personally LOVE the ones from Rosenow's website. FH is a guitarist and while neither of us liked either of the guitar ones they have on their site, we really liked the guitar pic ones...especially since you can pick the pic colors (okay, that sounded weird) to match with your color theme.

We're having a small wedding party - he'll just be having a best man and a groomsman, that's all. His best man (his brother) plays drums and is a boxer, and his groomsman (he hasn't picked one yet), well depending on who he picks is either also a guitarist or a dummer. I think it's a nice touch, and I know that most guys will appreciate it more than flowers.

I personally am not crazy about this idea. However, if you think that it works for you & FH, I say go for it!

Personally, I'm not a fan.....why not do personalized cufflinks....we plan on getting cufflinks for each GM to suit their personality.

My FH is a guitarist too and his drummer will also be his best man!!!

I personally fell in love with the idea when I found the article in the magazine and plan on ordering at least one for FH. If he wants the groomsmen to have them as well, I think it's awesome! However, I'm leaving that decision to him. (He has to have at least 1 decision right?)
