Bow Ties or Ties????

I keep going back and forth and FH isn't much help! One groomsmen - hates bow ties...but it shouldn't be about him. My Mom wants bow ties ....but it shouldn't be about her....



What are all of you doing?

im def doing ties, im not a fan of a bow tie!!
do whatever you like better, because basically this wedding is all about you!! hehe
well and of course the FH, but if he doesnt care, go with what you want!

I am not a fan of the bow tie. I am going with ties and do what you like best and what looks best on the guys.

I did ties. Im not a fan of bow ties it reminds me of an 80s prom.

I think it depends on what the bride is wearing. I was just at a wedding where the bride was wearing a very formal ball gown and the groom was wearing a tux with a plain tie and it just looked like he was wearing a regular suit like he was a guest and not the groom. If the bride's dress is not formal then its probably fine though because the groom shouldn't look more formal than the bride.

Regular ties for us -- all but FH's 3 1/2 year old nephew who is wearing a bow tie with his toddler tux.

Either is fine. Do whatever you guys like. When you go with FH to pick out the tuxes, he can decide which he likes the look of best.

I think bow ties are for older people. They are also more formal. I let FH decide though, he wanted long ties.

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE bow ties.... something so classic about them. FH does not like bow ties so hes in an ascot and the GMs are in ties. My Grandfather is walking me down the aisle so I put him in a bow tie ...lol... he is going to look soo handsome! I put my 3 RBs in bow ties as well.

We decided ties for FH and the GM and bow ties for the Dads.
