Add us to the list! We just had ours installed!!

Christine, this is a bow window...

Kinda like a bay, but arc (bow) shaped.

We have pleated blinds on each casement (4 of them). Still looking for the perfect window treatment!!

Re: Bow Window Treatment

Thanks - I went looking after I asked. That's funny you found the same picture

I had a bay window in one of my apts. and used white eyelet panels (which provided more privacy) with a navy valence. I liked how it looked at the time.

Re: Bow Window Treatment

I get my new bow in December - it will be just like #1 that Marcela posted. Right now the existing gross bow window has mini blinds and a valance. Not sure what I will do yet. I don't think wood blinds and a swag will be too much....

Re: Bow Window Treatment

We have a bay window made up of five casement windows .. one on each side, and a 3-widow grouping across the front. In each window, on spring rods, we have lace panels in white. I want to do a little more for the window, but haven't quite figured out the idea or what hardware I'll need. Our set-up seems a bit strange .. below the windows, the wall arcs with the windows, however above the windows, the wall is straight with the windows punched out .. hope that makes sense. I'm thinking of adding about four panels .. one on each end, with one more at each end of the main 3-window grouping .. as well as adding a valance.

This is the window treatment I'd like to add on somehow.

Any suggestions on hardware???

Re: Bow Window Treatment

Just thought of a silly question .. I've never dealt with that above type of valance .. so, in that picture, would that be considered 3 individual valances??

Re: Bow Window Treatment

I will have to take pics of mine. I have a bow window, and hubby wants to put blinds on them, and I dont want that. The window is so pretty.
It is in my dining room which is green, and have off white, and green flowered curtains with a swag.

I also have a Bow window in my living room. Are you hanging your blinds inside the windo area, or on the outside above the trim. We have a little high hat on the inside of our window. We're thinking of doing a window treatment on the inner window area so we can display flowers or whatever on the huge window sill.

Re: Bow Window Treatment

We hung pleated blinds inside each window frame (4 casements). We have fluted molding and the corner rosettes around the window and I didn't want to hide it.

The blinds are nice but the window looks a little naked. It's a big window-takes up almost the whole wall in our living room. Since it's such a focal point, I'd really like to dress it up a bit.

We have the same thing as you do. I wanted to get the wood blind for the 5 windows but at the same time not hide the molding or take away from the ledge so I can display things. i am so not talented at decorating
