Boys are Dumb.....But We still love them

I love my FH dearly, but sometimes I feel like hitting him in the head with a frying pan.

I grew up with mostly boys, I went to college with mostly boys, I work in a male-dominated profession, and sometimes I just need to be around girls (hooray for this board)

My FH has yet to discover these wonderful things we have in the kitchen and bathroom called 'cabinets'. They are really amazing! When you buy stuff, instead of leaving it in plain site on the floor, or in a bag on the door handle, you put stuff IN THE CABINET!! Isn't that amazing?!?!?!

I worked really long hours yesterday and Monday (today also), which means when I get home all I have time to do is hop into bed. All of the groceries he bought Monday are still in bags on the kitchen floor. Monday it didn't bother me, but when I got home last night and they were still there....I was ready to kill him - since I almost killed myself trying to step over them.

Since there are mostly ladies on the board, I figure we've all had moments where we feel like suffocating out future husbands with the grocery bags they haven't put away. And since most of us are under stress from planning a wedding and such, we all must have those moments where we feel like getting 20 cats and becoming the crazy old cat lady rather than deal with one more toilet seat left up.

Sorry hun!!! I'm guessing this is our daily rant???

I hateeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee when FH leaves his shoes in the middle of a walk way.
Doesn't matter where he is in the house.... if its the main place you walk, his shoes are there!!!
And I trip over them ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!

aww sorry to hear about ur frustration.

I hate it when FH eats in the bedroom while watching tv. WE HAVE A TV IN THE LIVING ROOM TOO!!!!

LOL. My FH LOOOOOVES to eat in bed. The one thing that drives me crazy is crumbs in bed.

I only really have a few pet peeves that he gets to me with - and the #1 would be him not making the bed before he leaves for work - he is ALWAYS out of the house after me (AND OUT OF BED - after i leave) - i just want to come home to a plush bed and straight sheets

my rant... FH wakes up as I am leaving the house for work and usually goes to sleep at least a half hour before me -- then he always says 'I am so tired' even though he gets several more hours of sleep each monday thru friday than me!

oh, but I am the messy one -- I never put anything away and he is always trying to clean it up.

MY Fh likes to leave ALL his dirty clothes on his desk chair.

I dont understand this! We have two HUGE hampers and he just puts EVERYTHING over the back of this chair.......

What is so hard about putting things in the hamper??

FH and I don't live together so the only things I could think of are:

1-toilet seat is always up

2-if I go to visit him and we have the whole day to do things together, sometimes he wants to stay in bed til almost noon and I hate killing the day like that.

WHAT drives me nuts is his ability to sleep at any given time! We have a really important appt with a lawyer at 8:30 tongiht. He was supposed to be here at 7:30, but here i am at 8 still on the computer cause he just called and said he fell asleep. Now we are going to be late!!!!!! I always make it a point to be on time, especially for something as important as this!!!!!!!!

I hate when you uses my decorating pillow on my sofa as his placemat when he eats

OH, where do I begin. I love him, but sometimes, really . . . . .

He piles his clothes (scrubs from work every day) next to his side of the bed, for like, days and days. I don't always see them, so I'll do what I think is ALL the laundry and then find Mount Dirty Clothes in the corner. That and a few other guy things . . . . like seemingly incurable gas and still thinking farts are funny . . . . drive me crazy, but oh well, he's my honey!!!

Hey, look at the positives... HE BOUGHT GROCERIES?!?!?!? The day my FH buys groceries and they actually make it home so I believe he bought them, I will jump for joy!

Since we started wedding planning it seems FH cannot make a decision without consulting his MOTHER it is starting to make me nuts!!! They are not even that close.

Yes, he does grocery shop because I work long hours. I have to make him a list. And he usually spends an extra $30 on cookies, candy, and ice cream that I didn't put on the list.

Ok so my lil rant is that i cant stand when FH doesnt put down the lid of the bowl. Ok i know at least he puts the seat down but honestly it annoys the crap out of me. I like the Lid down too! is it really that hard to do???? He also puts his sneakers right behid the bedroom door so that when u open the freaking door you have to push them & drag them along the wood floors. They just dont get it.

I guess overall though Im pretty darn lucky he does do everything else & he is really clean about mostly everything! lol

i cant stand that FH farts all the time...its so annoying--he crouches and farts, its discusting, but he thinks he is hilarious.

I'm sorry I had to LOL @ that. My FH farted last night when I was not in the room. I guess he thought I was going to shower because I came back in like 2 seconds later and he was like 'You can't come in here, I just farted and it's terrible.'

I guess you can say he was considerate.....
