Boys names

I need help picking out names for my boys. I want to give them a middle name, in case they want a nickname or something. Anyone have any nice and unique names? I would love some suggestions!!!! Also..if you could pick anytime of year to have a birthday..when would it be?
We dont have birthdates for these boys..so I have to make them up/...would you prefer a summer or winter birthday???
Thanks so much!!

Re: Boys names

Hey Alicia,

Speaking as a summer baby, I know I LOVED having my birthday in the summer. I always had off from school; I would have pool or beach birthday parties & being my bday is July 5, we always celebrated w/ the family on July 4th & then with friends afterwards.

For names, maybe:

Tyler
Hunter
Harris
Jackson
Maxwell

Re: Boys names

how about nicholas or christopher...nicknames would be chris and nick

the boys would probably love to celebrate their b-days in the spring/summer months..you have so many options (weather permitting of course) to have something outdoors...

i dont understand...how they not have b-days and names...or is this normal when you adopt a kid?

I dont like summer babies cause when i was in grade school..we had to share b-day party with all the summer babies..

I'm not too sure about the weather in Etheopia, but isn't it always warm?? If they don't have winters maybe they would like a snow birthday....

Maybe you should make their birthdays when you get them. One could be the date you go there & the other could be the date you come home. Or you could give them them dates based on when you first found out you were adopting them.

I would also give them a middle name that had signficance to you, like a relative or something, so then their names will be a merger of their heritage
& their new family.

Because I'm naming my boy Christopher, I'd have to agree with that name choice. I also love the name Nicholas. I also have to agree with the Spring/summer birthdays. So much more to do in the warmer weather. I have a winter birthday and it kind of stinks. There's only so many indoor activities you can do for birthday parties.

Re: Boys names

If I got to pick a birthday, I'd pick May or June. My daughter's birthday is Sept 1st, I feel bad for her when she first starts school because she won't know any of the kids yet to invite them to her party. My son is Nov 20th, better but we're stuck inside. Same goes for winter. Summer, like someone else said, gets celebrated with all the other summer kids in the class. So, May or June, they can have an outdoor party, they know the other kids to invite them to celebrate and they get their own celebration in class. That would be my choice!

As for names, my son is Matthew, I also like Ryan, Jared and Zachary.

I like the suggestions. Or the date that you found out they were yours and the day they come home!
