BP question

BP question

I'm making FH think about who he wants to ask to be his 'men' for the wedding. I have a feeling he will want to ask every guy that has had him in their weddings... which is a lot! Geez, if he was a woman he'd be broke just after paying for BM dresses and underwear!

Anyway, is this an okay idea since I don't want people to think I'm begging for just any woman to be in my BP. And I don't want the usher's wives either (that was FH's idea)....

So here it is:

His older brother walks down with FH's grandmother (God willing - she' 84 and lives in Italy so hopefully she'll be there).

His younger brother walks down with FH's Godmother (she's 78 and no children of her own so I thought she'd get a kick out of walking one of her Godson's).

FH's son (almost 10 y.o. by that time) walks down with FH's Goddaughter (about 12 at that time and I adore her - I wanted her to be a junior BM anyway).

And then the rest of the guys walk down my friends/sister. There still may be more guys that gals, but what can ya do!

I actually thought having the 'matriarchs' of his family being walked down by his brother's to be a nice touch - thoughts? Or should I just have the men and women walk down separately if there is too much disparity?

Re: BP question

I think that sounds really nice. We are having an uneven BP, but not by that much, 2 more girls than guys, so 2 lucky guys get to have 2 girls walk with them.

Ooooh, there's an idea, some girl will have 2 guys? Or maybe they all will! He's such a wacko... meanwhile I'm trying to keep everything small - even the guest list at 100 people is tough...
