BParty Dramaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa (where's the rolling eyes icon??)

So my bach party was a weekend to Mexico which almost everyone dropped out of last minute. At the moment, it's just me and 3 BMs, which I'm totally fine with and I told everyone who's not going that we'd probably do a night out closer to the wedding with everyone.

The other day, I get a text from a friend (NOT a BM, just a good friend): 'I'm sorry I can't go to your Bach party.'

I'm thinking umm ok, I knew this months ago.

She goes on to tell me about a surprise night out my BMs were planning and how she thinks they're being rude and how ridiculous it was to plan something so last minute.

I replied, 'WHY DID YOU TELL ME IF YOU KNEW IT WAS SURPRISE???' One text even said, 'I know it's a surprise, but I feel like you should know all the sh!t that's going on.' Then later on, she's like, 'Oh I really thought you knew about it.'

Anyway, after a SLEW on texts back and forth and then another BM getting involved, I called my sister (MOH) and told her what happened. OMG she was soooooooo upset! She sounded like she was in tears that my surprise was ruined, she might have been crying, I know my sister. Tonight, another BM told me she was basically in tears too.

I'm mad at the friend who told me, but I don't hate her. It's just that... well... WHERE WAS HER HEAD?? She'd going through a lot of sh!t in her life right now and probably not thinking straight, but really? Really?

I've since learned that the plannning was totally last minute and the date wasn't good for A LOT of people, but in the end, the weekend they picked is probably the only weekend I can do anything. I'm upset about the drama going on and feel like I shouldn't have said anything to my sister, but I was a little upset too. ehhh I probably shouldn't have opened my mouth.

Well anyway, that's my drama, but all I know is that next weekend, I'm going out with some of my friends. That's really it. Plus I get to dress up

I would be reeeeaaally upset too! Not only cuz the dumba$s ruined the surprise but its not necessary for her to tell u abt the drama! Like u don't already have a lot going on right now, u need to be dragged into this sh!t?

I'm sorry you got pulled into the nonsense. Right after my surprise shower, my cousin (a BM) was relieved she could finally vent about her stresses in planning it and how she thought my MOH was rude for continuously asking her for money to put towards it...ummm yeah...everyone was putting in and she's concerned about my shower being great...not you I listened a bit and kept saying 'don't worry...it's over. it was great' because I didn't want to hear it.

Grown women can solve their own problems. You don't need to hear anything about anyone else's emotions until after the wedding if you even care to hear at that point. They may think it's harsh but it'll save your sanity!
