Bra suggestions?

Bra suggestions?

I just ordered my dress and I am so excited! I am starting to think about what my options are for a bra. The back is very low as you can see from the picture. I'm not sure if there is a chance of getting a long line bra that is low enough for this dress. I really don't want cups sewn in - I've had them in BM dresses in the past and felt like they did not do anything for me. I am a C cup and need support, definitely can't go braless. I could always wait till my first fitting and buy something but feel like I will get ripped off buying undergarments at Kleinfeld. Any advice would help! TIA.

I'm not sure about a bra suggestion, but your dress is absolutely gorgeous. Is it a Jim Hjelm?

OH MY GOD! That dress is AMAZINNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGG!

I agree with the previous posts...would you consider cups being sewn in? That's probably the best bet.

AND we're both using Rosanna Amador!!! That's so funny, when I set up my trial with her she told me she had another wedding out east that morning!!! Did you have trouble blocking hotel rooms? I'm having an impossible time!!

Maybe the cups I've had in the past were not done right, but I felt like they didn't give me any real support.

Try going to a specialty store and show them a picutre of your dress. Check out Blums in Patchogue or Georgette's in Hicksville - they might be able to offer suggestions.

And, your dress is really beautiful!

My MOH had this issue and there definitely is a backless bra. I know Nordstorm and Bloomingdales has them. It's almost like a stick on bra...the sides are made of adhesives that are ok for your skin. She used this for her dress, it gave her amazing support and lift.
Gorgeous dress!

I'd check out Georgettes and show them the dress.. I never had luck with the cups sewn in and I'm a C cup as well.

I've used the stick on bras and they are just OK... but I don't feel like theres a lot of support.

Try BraTenders (http://bratenders.com) or Intimacy (http://myintimacy.com) in NYC...

BraTenders does a lot of costume/broadway work, so they have all kinds of options - a friend of mine got her bra there for her wedding dress and loved it.

THIS!

VS also makes adhesive (backless) bras... one is in the form of silicone gel cups & the other actually looks like a wireless bra

Go to Georgette's in Hicksville on Route 107. Bring a picture of your dress. It doesn't look like much when you go inside, but trust me, if anyone is going to carry the perfect bra, its them.
