Bracelet for day of and Restaurant rave

Ok so yesterday i took Fh out to dinner at buddakan for his birthday. First ill say that I was on my period and all day in a bad mood before we went out to dinner i got into a fight with FH about the stupidest thing, he kept saying not to ruin the night but i dont know what was wrong with me, i used to never be like this on my period and past months im raging lol. I was focused only on it being his birthday dinner that i didnt realize it was 2/9 and that at midnight it was the anniversary of the night we met. Well on the way there i was still a little mad and he yelled 'here i was going to wait until midnight but bc youre acting like this ill do it now' he goes into his glove compartment and took out a card and a box. I read the card and he wrote out this whole thing and I realize then that it was the anniversary of the night we met and then i open the box and he gave me the regina b bracelet Mimacat posted recently. He knew i had wanted the last one, and he was watching it on ebay and won it for me so i can wear for the wedding...yeah so i felt horrible after...here is the bracelet-I LOVE IT

now onto restaurant review. Buddakan inside looks so nice and the people are nice, not arrogant like alot of places that are like this. The food was seriously AMAZING, fh and i kept saying OMG this is delicious and FH even said it was better than TAO which is his favorite restaurant. And everybody always say that the place is SOOO expensive but really it isn't. They serve family style, now not HUGe portions like italian places but still. We ordered 3 appetizers: cantonese spring rolls, frog legs and edamame dumplings. For main entree we had the charcoaled filet of beef and seriously this melted in your mouth and im not the biggest fan of redmeat, they put this sauce on that is amazing. We also had the crispy shrimp and wow so good too. We also had dessert, sorbet and white chocolate rice pudding which again was amazing. Fh even got a $55 bottle of sake, and i had 2 drinks. When the bill came i expected it to be more than it was but it wasnt bad at all, i was surprised it was just under $210 and for all we got not bad. The prices i found to be average. Apps are like most restaurants $8-12 and just a few over. Main course were in the $20's like 23-25. So i dont know why everybody says that its so expensive...That place buddha bar is more than this, their entree's are like $40 each. I definitely recommend it. Our waiter was so great and attentive, he made great suggestions as to what to get. Definitely a place to check out

Sounds like you had a great night despite the little fight at the beginning!!! Your FH sounds super attentive and the fact that he bought you that bracelet and noticed that you wanted it is so great.
Buddakan is fantastic. Isn't the middle part of the restaurant amazing? crazy, right? Food is fantastic and the desserts were amazing. FH and I went there last year to celebrate his new job.

It's normal to feel bad. Dude, I think every single girl on here has done the same thing to their FH. I can't tell you how many times I've been mad about something stupid!!!
I'm sure he doesn't even remember it now. (guys never remember dumb fights)

OH he'll remember trust me but he'll get over it hahaha. Like you said these things happen. I was mad about the stupidest thing, i guess ill say what it was. He was at his friends house in LI. He called me at 7pm to tell me he is leaving, i flipped out yelling saying why is he leaving LI at 7pm, meanwhile our reservations were at 10:15 and i said obviously my plans for his bday werent important and i even said well i dont even want to go right now. He kept saying he'll be here on time. Well to prove his point more, instead of being here at 9pm like planned, he showed up at 8:40 to prove his point and i got mad at that, i said dont be a hero showing up at even earlier to prove a point lol. I had issues yesterday. I feel even worse bc his friend picked up FH to go to LI so fh was waiting on his friend and fh wanted to leave from 5pm. His friend kept apologizing saying he didnt know it was a big deal to leave at 7pm and that he had enough time to make it

The bracelet is absolutely gorgeous!!! That was so nice of FH. I am secretly hoping that FH gets my the bracelet I want too for the wedding...well I don't know if its really a secret considering I emailed it to him but I have a rather large B-day coming up in may so hopefully I will get it then. Yeah fh JUST finished telling my mom that i had a fight with him AFTER i showed her the bracelet, when fh told my mom why i fought with him she looked at me and said ' are you kidding me denise?' hahahahahaha

I think it is so sweet that your FH surprised you with a gift representing the first day you met! It seems like he gave it to you just at the right time.

Boy, period does make us a bit crazy sometimes... joy of being a woman!!!

Nice bracelet though. Really, really nice. Love Buddakan... mmmmm... makes me hungry!!!!!
