Brat Camp News

I hadn't heard about Jada's arrest (but I'm not surprised by anything about that spoiled brat )

'BRAT' ATTACK: PART II

A second kid featured in ABC's 'Brat Camp' is in trouble with the law.

Isaiah Alarcon, 17, who appears in the moderately popular summer series, was arrested in his hometown of Winton, Calif. for allegedly spray-painting racial epithets on the home of an African-American preschool teacher.

Alarcon was booked into the Merced County Juvenile Hall for two days, charged with interfering with the exercise of civil rights and damaging property, and was under house arrest.

He and a pal, who was also arrested, said they didn't mean to cause any harm, according to Merced County Sheriff Mark Pazin.

Alarcon's case is expected to be heard today by a juvenile court commissioner, and he could be tried as an adult. If convicted, Alarcon could face up to two years in jail and $15,000 in fines.

Alarcon is the second 'Brat Camp' participant to run afoul of the law. As The Post reported yesterday, Jada Chabot, 15, was charged with seriously injuring a Boston family in a speedboat accident, sending two sisters to the hospital.

On 'Brat Camp,' taped last winter, nine incorrigible teens from around the country were sent to an Oregon wilderness school for 50 days in hopes the school's boot-camp atmosphere would cure their wild ways.
