bratty vent :-)

hey guys... this is really bratty, but i just need to vent
i'm one of the matrons of honor in my best friends wedding next weekend. i talked to her today and asked her how she was doing the seating... i had thought she would put dh and i with my parents and one of our good friends from elementary school whos gonna be there... that would make sense, right??
NO! she put dh and i with her friend from college that i've met twice and her date, and a family with 3 little kids that i babysat for about 3 times before they moved to virginia.
now, i just did the seating for my wedding so i know how tough it can be, and i know i'm being a brat... but when i did it, i at least tried to set it up so it made sense... and i live 2 hours away from my parents now, so i was looking forward to spending time with them at the wedding. her family and a lot of her friends are strict southern baptist.christian, so theres gonna be dancing at the wedding, but most of the people going aren't into dancing, so i don't know if i'll be able to sneak over and sit at my parents table after the dinner...
ok! i'm done being a brat! feels good to get that out!

I'm sorry, I can see how you'd be upset. Maybe she really had no choice and being that you are a MOH she figured you'd understand. I am sure you'll get to spend lots of time with your parents. Maybe when everyone gets to their seats you can switch with them.
