On Austin Street in Forest Hills, next to Barnes and Noble....anyone know them? It's the only place in the tri-state area that has a sample of the dress I think I want - was curious if anyone has worked with them. I lived in Forest Hills for 2 years and can't picture it. Thanks.

I ordered my dress and bridesmaid dresses from them. It's the place on that little strip of stores past the Brandon Cinema (formerly the Continental Theater). Right between the Panche Salon and the Magic Corset bra place. They've been there for years. I ordered my prom dress from them, and that was 10 years ago.
The price on my dress was excellent..... about 30% cheaper than another place in Queens! (The exact same dress, same designer)
She told me she was giving me a deal on the bridesmaid dresses. I think the price is only okay, not a steal..... Plus, they do change extra for alterations.
I would definitely recommend checking them out though. The owner's name is Greta, and the salesgirl that helped me was Laurie, and she's a doll.
I also should add that I tried on about 8 dresses there, didn't like ANY of them. Then Greta suggested I try on the one I ended up buying. I would never have tried it on as it didn't fit my 'criteria'... I am so happy she insisted I try it on.
My wedding is in September, and both my dress and the bridesmaid dresses came in last week.
