I made an appt to meet w/ Bravura. I left work early & drove 45 minutes to get to their Woodbury office and is was closed, door locked and all....................... Needless to say, I was SO PISSED! I called them from my car and I left a message on their voicemail. I got a call later that night saying they messed up on my appt and they'll understand if I don't want to use them now. Talk about professionalism. They could have said they would give me a break on a package if I came back....What a waste of time. It's a shame b/c the boards say they do a great party.
UPDATE::::::::::::: Tony, the owner of Bravura Ent. asked me to consider coming in for a meeting. So, I met w/ him & Jim last night and they were apologetic and very nice. I just wanted to post that on here in fairness to them doing the right thing by the customer. Thanks Bravura!

I would still meet with them. They do negotiate and you have a little leverage there. EVERYONE makes mistakes, pretty sure we've all made mistakes professionally and otherwise, I would reschedule and see what they have to offer.

That's a shame because they are SUCH nice guys. I would still meet with them and see if they'll give you a break for your inconvenience!

OMG, i'm so sorry to hear that. it was probably just an honest mistake, and if you ask if they'd be willing to give you something for missing your appt, they might be able to. we all miss appts sometimes. or you just may be happier looking elsewhere based on this impression. either way, it sux that this happened, i know.

I wouldnt' go back and meet them...they don't seem to think your business is worth their time. There are hundreds of other GREAT Dj's out there.

i just happened on this post accidentally and I wanted to say I used Bravura for my wedding and they did a fair job, not fantastic. They didnt play some of the songs on my must play list and when dh and i got to the hotel that night i realized they missed a big ethnic song on the must play list needless to say i was fuming. when I came back from my hm i called and left them a message (just asking them to call me back) cause i wanted to rip them for the mistake and they never called me back.
they were very nice to work with as a vendor but based on my experience at the wedding i wouldnt recommend them.

Our final choices were between them and Starlight Express..
