For Bliss, not sure how far in advance you need to book. I called Monday to get a Wednesday 12:15 appointment w/ no problem but weekends probably book up much quicker.

Re: Brazilian Wax

Count me out for the field trip...but just want to let you know...DH's aunt does BW at a salon in Syosset..something with an 'M'...on Jericho...just eats of the bowling alley...(by 106/107)

shes in her mid 40s...her name is Isa...I have never gotten one from her...b/c that would just be weird...but she does my eyebrows, armpits...everything else...and she uses the best wax...doesn't hurt a bit...well just a sting...but much less than anywhere else I've been..

She aslo works out of her home...if you want to do it there instead..

I go to Christopher Jons Salon and Day Spa in Sayville. I have had it done twice, but the girl left. I haven't been to the new girl yet...

Re: Brazilian Wax

Since I didn't know anyone there, I didn't ask for anyone specifically though I will ask for Dorothy from now on. Don't know if she works weekends though.
But I'm assuming you can ask for her. But book ASAP, just in case.

Re: Brazilian Wax

This post is too funny..i love it! I will have to go check out Bliss next time I decide to go...one tip they gave me that was helpful was to buy baby Balmex instead of the expensive after lotion they sell at the salon and it helps with any swelling or bumps. Have fun girls!
Post back about your findings =)!

Re: Brazilian Wax

I would like a Brizilian wax before the wedding too. I usually shave down there but it gets so itchy when it grows back, and it grows back too quick for me. I heard you have to let it grow a decent amt first and my friend gets it done alot and said the first time was pretty painful but the next few were better.

Re: Brazilian Wax

I wasn't going to name her because she's a friend of mine!!! But Dorthory at Bliss is amazing! (She specializes in skin care) but does one hell of a Brizallian too! I'm going to her in 2 weeks
She does work on Saturdays.
