OK Ladies... What's the deal on the Brazillian wax craze... I want to get one but I'm not the biggest advocate of PAIN (especially in the nether regions). So am I being scared for nothing or does it really hurt? If it really does hurt, how can I dull the pain? Besides getting off the wall DRUNK!!!
Is it all worth it, or not? Basically post what you love or hate about the process and the after effects....
Thanks!!!!

omg, its so painful, but when you realize just how amazing the results are, its totally worth it, my friend used ella at frasada and she loved her, i plan on using her next time i need a wax... i take 2 advil also, but there is no a cream on the market that numbs you down there and makes it less painful, not like novicane or anyhting, but numbs it enough so it wont hurt too bad, i forgot the name of it though, it has lidocaine in it. i plan on trying to find some for my summer of bikini waxes.

You are braver women than I am.
I don't think I could do it Not so much the pain but the 'position' you have to get into. Must be humbling

Re: Brazillian Waxes
I have had it done about 3 times and WOW does it hurt! I have not done it in a while but I did just start getting normal bikini waxes and It does not hurt that much. After the 3rd or 4th time the level of pain decreases. I am not sure but I thought I heard of a type of bikini wax that is like a hybrid of a Brazilian and regular wax so it does not take off everything. You could start with that and work your self up to a Brazilian wax.

Nope - lay on the table, legs spread. They see it all the time, nothing to be embarrased about! Some of the higher end places have paper panties they put on you if you are uncomfortable, but they end up just pushing it aside to get at everything anyway.
If you try to relax and take a deep breath in when they rip - it really hurts so much less. If you tense up, the pain is hard core.
Like all the other ladies said, it's SO worth it.

Yeah, I agree it hurts - but definitely worth it. You feel very clean after if that makes sense.

Re: Brazillian Waxes
If you don't want to get a full Brazilian wax, there are places that do partial Brazilian waxes. That HURTS too but probably not as bad as the full wax.

The full wax is utter torture....its so invasive...I sat there thinking of where she is waxing and it grosses me out
