Brazillian Waxes

Original post by TimmysGirl

OK Ladies... What's the deal on the Brazillian wax craze... I want to get one but I'm not the biggest advocate of PAIN (especially in the nether regions). So am I being scared for nothing or does it really hurt? If it really does hurt, how can I dull the pain? Besides getting off the wall DRUNK!!!

Is it all worth it, or not? Basically post what you love or hate about the process and the after effects....

Thanks!!!!

I hated getting a brazillian wax. The results were worth it but i hated the pain. So I looked into getting laser hair removal and it is so much better and there's no reddness or swelling. I love it. I am getting my seconnd treatment next week.
If you want the info send me a FM. You can finace it so you don't have to pay it all at once.

My place just got lavender wax and it's much easier and a little less painful! Swelling and redness was minimal and it 'calmed' down right away. Definitely worth looking into!

I've had one treatment so far and I already have some bare spots where the hair is not growing back. You get six treatments and a 2 year guarantee. It is weird when you get it. It's like you get a little zap.(A LOT LESS PAINFUL THAN A WAX) As you go on and have less hair you hardly feel it. I am also doing my underarms. I only had one treatment there and I hardly have to shave there. I usually shave there every other day. It's really great. By the time my honeymoon comes I should have 4 treatments in. I can't wait!!!

depends on how fast you grow hair. Mine stays completely bare for about 2 weeks, and then when it does start to grow in it is minimal for another 2 or 3 weeks...
