My favorite flowers are daisies, not gerber though. I am thinking of having centerpieces made up of small potted daisies and then each couple at the table takes one as their favor. What do you think?
Also, how do I go about getting this done? Do I see a florist or a nursery? Please help.

Re: breakaway centerpieces
I think this is a great idea! You could probably have potted plants created by either a florist or a nursery - I would speak to both and compare prices/options.

Re: breakaway centerpieces
I went to a wedding where they did this with roses. The bride wrapped tall square glass vases with a VERY nice burgandy grosgrain ribbon. They were gathered on the table & actually looked like one peice because of the ribbon. She bought the roses online & said it took her 2 days to do the vases & it took her 4 aunts 30 min to set it up at the wedding. All this cost her only a couple hundred dollars.

Do you know where to order flowers on line? I could probably do something similar with daisies. Thanks

I love this idea. I wanted to do it...but I also wanted high CP (on the pedestals). I couldn't do both, so I went with the high CP's.

I love this idea! I too thought about this, but I know FH wants to give wine favors.

check out www.fantasylandonthenet.com it's a huge store in east patchogue... just make sure when you go to the website you click on the bridal link... When you search for centerpieces they have ones that you are looking for... good luck!
