Breast Cancer Walk

I need help thinking of a team name.

My mother passed away April 18 from cancer. (Started with breast cancer 15 years ago. She was a great fighter, but the last few months took a turn for the worst...ended up with stomach, liver, ovarian, brain, heart, lung cancer) I hope to be as strong as her one day
It's extremly hard (especially since my sister had the first grandchild last month and my wedding) this year, but little by little my family is getting better. Knowing she is not suffering any more and in a better place, is ok with me.


This year my sister, Aunt, and friends are doing the breast cancer walk at Jones Beach in honr of her and are making a website that way people can donate to the cancer foundation.
We don't want to use her name as the team name, but we are trying to think of a good name. Co-worker picked pink ladies (thought that was great!)


Any suggestions!?

I do the walk every year as well. Our team name this year is coffeelovers08. It suits us all VERY well.

I think Pink Ladies is great, and you can probably find Pink Lades T-shirts at Steve and Barry's to use for the walk too!!

Mothers name was Lorraine --my aunt always called her bo--have no idea why, she doesn't even know


So my sister thought of raine (i have that tattooed on my wrist) with bo at the end...

But not sure..

Haven't done the walk in years...Hopefully this year I can make it through the entire thing!!

Oh I misunderstood, I thought your co-worker mentioned the name Pink Ladies for you. I like your other idea with your mothers nickname as well.

Pink ladies is cool though...
She is the only one on her team that wants to wear the shirt..
I would love to do that!! I just might wear one anyone, for a pink shirt!
