Breast Implants.... Question
I am getting breast implants in January and I was curious to know if anyone has had this procedure before. If so.. who was your doctor? Are you happy with your implants? How bad was the pain? And do you have any kind words of advice?

Re: Breast Implants.... Question
I have had my implants for about 8 yrs. I had them done in TN. so, I can't recommend a doctor. I can say that I don't regret my decision at all. It was not the most comfortable experience, but the pain lasted about 2 weeks. If you have any other questions feel free to fm me and I'll try to help. Good luck!!!

Re: Breast Implants.... Question
Mine were a college graduation gift from my parents back in 1997. I do not regret my decision to do it one bit. They are AWESOME!Unfortunately, I did have to have them done twice. The first time, the post op pain was quite bad. The stitches opened and I had to have them redone.
Now 7 years later, my body has formed a scar around the implant. Usually this happens a few months to a year after surgery. The doctor was shocked that it happened after this long a period of time. But it did. And then I find out the doctor that did the original surgery has since retired.
I found through recommendation by my gyno, a new doctor - he's GREAT! Dr. Lee in garden city - the long island plastic surgical group. So gentle and friendly - not salesy like SO many of them are. And his rates are great. One doctor I went to wanted to charge $10k to replace ONE! You can find a great doctor and not break the bank.
I plan on holding off to have mine replaced until they hurt or really harden. Right now, its fine and if my husband doesn't care, then why should I :)
but definitely check out Dr. Lee - free consult.
Best to you - you'll be SO HAPPY!

Re: Breast Implants.... Question
I had mine done last March by Dr. Steven Greenberg and have had NO problems so far! The pain is not as bad as you would expect, I think the first day or two are the worst, but if you keep on top of your pain meds and take them on time it shouldnt be that bad.I went from a 34A to a 34C and NOBODY except people I tell know that I had them done because they look very natural.
I have no regrets and am very happy with the results.
