I am going to BCC on Wed to take a look for the first time. Does anyone have any questions that I should ask? Also, do you have to use all of there vendors?

You are not required to use all the vendors if you don't want to. Speak with the manager's about what refund they can offer you if you decide against any of them.

Know that you can custom any of the packages once you book for a fee, but they are all great to work with, JMO!

Just wanted to let you know that I love the BCC. I met with Sammie today and he was so helpful. I have to speak to my FI and see what he thinks, but I think this is the place. It's so cozy.

I just have a quick question: The sample that he showed me for the photo album I am not really sure if it is my style. Can you upgrade the photo album? TIA

Sammie is great, isn't he?? Since we booked, we've also met with Scott and Steve and FH and I pray that Steve is our Matre-D on our big day - he was wonderful to work with our menu and invites!!!!

The photo album you saw is what comes with the package, but we met with the photographer a few weeks ago to review upgrades. We went with a proof album upgrade and FH and I are deciding what wedding album upgrade we want, it's a slight cost (little over $100), but well worth it when you see the albums. I posted about my visit to the photographer a few pages back if you want to take a look.

Many of the girls getting married at BCC have posted their optinions and views on meeting with the vendors throughout these pages, so read along. I know I refer back to get names, etc.

Let us know how your FH thought of it!! I'll be at the expo next week.

So, I went to the expo last night!!! There were lots of 2007 brides and even some 2008 brides!!! WOW!!! I can't even believe we're half way through the year now!!!

We spoke with each vendor and had them fill out these contracts that we have to hand into the Church. We picked our limo out from all the pictures they had. My parents LOVED the food and kept getting up for more, so at least I know they will be happy at the wedding. We booked a chocolate fountain for the last hour of the reception.

It was the first time we ever got to hear the new DJ company - has anyone noticed that if you sit behind the dance floor (by the bar), the bass of the microphones seems fuzzy and loud? The music didn't sound bad at all, but when the MC spoke, from where we sat, it sounded bassy, if that makes any sense to anyone.

I can't believe we're 3 months away!!! We're meeting with the florist this Friday - so we'll see what happens!

I am glad to see you had a great time at the showcase. I am sure with the DJ they just need to adjust the base and that is why it was so fuzzy, but if you have concerns maybe you should mention it to them.

I didn't take any photos, but my mother did. Here they are:





I need your opinion girls!!!!!!!! We went to the florist today and made our picks. I chose red roses for my bo-q, red and ivory roses for my MOH bo-q and ivory roses for my BM bo-q's.

I'm at a loss for the CP. I love the roses CP - costs $15/dozen for each table (extra) or we could go with the standard CP, which my mother decided on with ivory dasies and mums. I was concerned with the height of the rose CP, but now I feel the ivory dasies will be too small and everything else is roses, so shouldn't this? HELP?!!

What are the rest of you doing?

Thanks for the great pics. Personally I love roses. I just think they are more elegant, but of course it is whatever you like and whatever fits in your budget. HTH

FH and I decided to go with the dozen roses and will be paying the $15 extra per table!!! Now to call the florist!!!

I have my rehearsal dinner on Wednesday. getting alittle nervous but still feel like I am in control.

I also made menus and programs for my DIY projects.

You did menus??? I was told not to bother doing these, but can you do them for each place seating? How much did you pay for the dozen and a half? I know it's more than $15, but less than $35, so I'm curious b/c I forgot the amount!

How many tables do you have? I'm assuming we'll have 14-15. $25/table doesn't seem bad - I'll have to wait and see money wise!

ETA: Can you share your menu you created? I was told not to bother with them, but now that I know someone else who is doing them, I feel better thinking it would be a nice touch!

I just wanted to say that i was married once before back in 2000. Unfortunatley...(But fortunatly now!!) That marriage didn't last..but the Wedding was at the Brentwood Country Club.. DO they still have thier own vendors?? I just have to say that they all worked together VERY well. Everything went smoothly. People say..ooh don't go with a package deal!! But this place was great!! If I werent married their before..I'd go there again.

Yeah, they still have the package deal with vendors - however, I know the DJ has changed, I don't know if any of the other's changed. Did you use Hi-Lite Studios for photo?
