Brentwood Country Club BRIDES

So where are each of you in your planning? Also, did the vendors contact you, or did you have to call each of them individually? Let me know how everything is proceeding! FH and I start our major planning next month!

I'm so happy to see a Brentwood Country Club post. I am meeting them in March to finalize the menu and invitations. I have looked at the website for invitations, but have not decided on one yet, Have you? I have met with the photographer. We are meeting a pastor this weekend (not the one recommended). I have heard bad things, my friend just got married there in October and he didn't even get her name right. How awful. Are you having your ceremony there? I made an appt with the florist on March 4. My hair and makeup trial is this Thursday. I figured whatever I can do now, why not..How are things going for you?

I'm not a Brentwood Country Club bride, but one of my bridesmaids and best friends got married there May 29th. All I have to say is that you ladies have made an excellent choice! The food and service was AWESOME!

I have not met with any of the vendors yet. We are actually getting married at our local church and we just finished our pre-cana. Barring any rain, we're going to have our photo's taken on the golf course with our bridal party. The manager - Sami- told us to meet with him first about the invitations and linens, so we haven't talked with the vendors. Did you just call them up and make appointments or did they contact you first? Let me know how your make up and hair trial goes - I keep changing my mind on my updo and I want to see how other's are doing it! Stay in touch and I'll let you all know how things progress with me!

Are any of you getting the chocolate fountain for your reception? I believe Sami gave me a rate of $3/pp for it and it sounds enticing. What about the rest of you?

I have to see if that comes with the fantasy package, it may be included already. I called the photographer, dj and florist myself. I wanted to get things moving ahead of time to see what I needed to budget for upgrades. In March, I will talk about invites, menus, linens, etc..I have to ask them how the decorate the bride & grooms chair..I do not think they do menus, so I am going to do that too. I have to ask them about that. I have dealt with Scott - we love him, great service.

Thanks also to Jada for the wonderful compliment about Brentwood Country Club. Two of my friends were married there and I thought the same thing, which made my decision easy. Thanks again..

We didn't even think about the fantasy package until after we signed the contract, but I'm still happy with everything! Did you pick the photographer for your day? If so, who? Also, what are you getting as extra's? I have to ask if we can purchase the negatives or upgrade the proofs to 4x6's.

Thanks everyone! I heard one of you girls say the Pastor was horrible. Was he really that bad, b/c my FI and I have already used a lot of outside vendors and I don't think I could even look for another. Plus, we are only having a quick in and out kind of ceremony. Is he really that bad?
Also, how were the vendors about upgrades, were they all accommodating, b/c I want to upgrade flowers and cake, but I'm nervous they won't work with me.
If you girls could get back to me in thte thread I'd appreciate, b/c I don't know how to work FM either!!
Such a Newbie I am!!
