Has Anyone used B rett M atthews? If so, who were your photographers and how many proofs did you receive? I am having the hardest time with finding a photographer. We are getting married in June 06 and I haven't booked anything except for my hall and our officiant. I am starting to feel overwhelmed! So far we have seen Verdi (loved but they are booked), Mark Kauffman (kind of strange) Duet and Patken. Any B rett M atthews or Mark Kauffman fans out there?
I haven't gotten married yet, but we did book B rett M atthews. I thought that their sample albums were far superior to the other work I had seen (and I know a pretty good amount about photography)...I'm very excited to do my engagement photos when the weather warms up!

I know that Bethsiar used B rett M atthews and her photos looked great. She posted a review with tons of pics on here. We were very close to booking them but heard some conflicting reviews (some very negative) about their customer service. We ended up booking Perceptions--their work seemed similar to us though I did love the albums we saw at B rett M atthews.

My brother used B rett M atthews & Ray shot for them. He had us all laughing (in the bridal party) & you barely knew he was there. I think they got about 600 proofs. He took some really great shots.
I'm using B rett M atthews too. I haven't even taken my e-pics yet (my wedding is in July!) due to the fact that we are trying to plan a wedding in only 8 months and want to wait until the weather gets warmer to take the e-pics. We visited about 15 different photographers before choosing B rett M atthews (no joke unfortunately due to my Dad being ridiculously picky). I loved the work I saw and have heard very good things about them. I like the fact that they include both the photojournalistic photographer and traditional photographer in their package, which was very impressive. I also loved Anthony's work at Perceptions photography. However, you had to pay extra for a traditional photographer at the time. I liked JoVon studios too when I saw them.
They are a bit on the pricey side (comparable to Patken, if you know anything about them). I don't have a particular photographer yet, but I will definitely be requesting Ray now! They also give you a discount on invitations if you order them there.

I am in the same dilemma. Can't seem to settle on a photographer. I too looked at B rett M atthews and they seemed good but it annoys me that they don't include the thank you's in the price. My first choice would be Verdi, I loved them!! But they are soooo expensive, they would end up being close to $7500 with everything. Is that what the quoted you? Everything with them seems to be ala carte. It looks like I might book Jovon. They seemed to be reasonably priced and give me everything I need.
