Brett Matthews...annoyed...vent
To all Brett brides, I am sorry but they really annoyed me last night. FI and I had set a 9pm appt given the fact we were coming from Bklyn and FI works late. They called me to confirm the day before and I said I couldn't wait to see there work. Well we arrived at 9 on the dot and we sat there for 10 minutes before anyone even came from the back to see who we were. When the gentleman did come out he was like can I help you. When I told him I had an appt he was like with who, I told them they never gave me a name. But you would think they should be expecting me, right?
Next he started making small talk and said the photographer I need to see was with another bride and should be done soon and made me fill out a sheet.
Well for the next 20 minutes he was babbling trying to find out where I was getting married. Given the fact that I am getting married at Oheka I didn't want to put the place down bc it seems prices automatically soar bc they think you are loaded. So I told him I hadn't decided but it was a toss up btwn a few places.
After 5 more minutes the photographer came out and said he would only be a few more minutes and that this gentleman who had been trying to get my location out of me would take me inside and start showing us some books. About time!
Well into the room we went to then have a woman come in and start babbling small talk and trying to fish for info. My FI was really frustrated by this time given he still had not eaten which we told the gentleman in the beginning. Since we were going to get some food if they were going to make us wait long.
After another 10 minutes of babble. It appeared the photographer had all the books in the other office and we couldn't see them yet. My FI was furious and livid, he got aggravated with the 2 of them and said are we going to see any work tonight given he needed to be up at 5am this morning and we still had an hour drive home. The guy told him oh that's not that long of a drive.
They finally showed us some lose photos and 2 books. The woman was very nice but NOT a photograppher. Finally I said is the photographer going to see us, but she said no I'll finish up. Obviously he left.
Tell me that's not nervy!
I travel an hour to see you. You make me wait over 35 minutes before bringing me in and then another 25 minutes of babble and NEVER see me. BULLSH*T!!!!!!!
When I started asking her questions about Italian albums, the woman gave us a handwritten quote after saying well first lets see if we are in your price range before we go into more elaborate stuff . Talk about nerve!!!
Obviously since she gave us a written quote no pre-printed package sheet, prices must vary for them depending on your wedding hall.
They kept stressing how upscale they were and that they really do most of there work in Manhattan, very upscale.
They may have nice work but with attitudes like that they can keep it!
