Bridal Couture and wedding Salon of Manhasset....HELP

Has anyone ordered or went to...
Bridal Couture of Manhasset
or
Wedding Salon of Manhasset?

What do you or did you think?

I have 2 appointments on Saturday with a couple of bridesmaids for dresses and would like some information.... good or bad

I went to both salons and thought the people at The Wedding Salon were much nicer and gave me more attention. I worked with Sania at The Wedding Salon and she was great. I bought my dress at Bridal Reflections though because The Wedding Salon didn't carry my designer.

I bought my dress and my bridesmaids' dresses at the Wedding Salon of Manhasset. They have been great so far. Good luck!

My best friend used Bridal Couture of Manhasset and I was her MOH so I delt w/ them as well since we got our dresses there. I think they were fine and the dresses were gorgeous.

I personally had a bad experience with the seamstress at wedding salon. She had to redo my BM dress 4 times to get it right and kept telling my I was changing my undergarments on her and I wasn't.

In addition my cousin had problems with her seamstress and her wedding dress. Bottomline, her $4,000 + wedding gown FELL APART at the reception. The illussion neckline came apart from the the top of her dress, the waist came apart from the ball gown, the bottom of the dress was shorter than her petticoats (crinolin) underneath. It was horrible!

The sales people were really nice though. The management wasn't so helpful ...

I got a BM dress from the Wedding Salon in Manhasset for my sister-in-laws wedding--I personally think they they charge to much for the BM dresses--can't say about the wedding gowns.

They start the BM dress prices at $250 and up, and they only carry 3 or 4 designers (Lazaro, Ver Wang, Jim Hjelm--there may be one more). I got a Lazaro for my wedding at a different salon for $180. The Wedding Salon was charging $275 for the same dress--and they would not give a discount b/c I didn't buy my dress there.

Oh, we got a Nicole Miller BM dress. It was $260 PAID IN FULL UP FRONT... and then alterations were another $75 I think.

I got my dress from the wedding salon. it was the only store on long island that could order my discontinued dress. I go to my first fitting on may 15th, Ill post how it went. Does anyone know who I should ask for as a seamstress?

I have been to Bridal Couture twice, once for me to try on wedding dresses and once for my cousin...both times I have had a good experience and they have dresses that are in a range of prices (starting at around $1100). I stopped into the Wedding Salon and the woman I spoke seemed nice, but she told me her dresses start at around $2500 and go up from there -- EXPENSIVE! So, I guess the difference between the two is the range of prices.

Do a search of Bridal Couture. They are known to be PROBLEMS. AVOID!!

I can't say personally, but I have 2 different sets of friends that had horrible experiences at bridal couture.

I had a bad experience at Bridal Couture. Would not recommend them. If you check out the BBB website they have had 11 complaints.

i got my gown and BM gowns from Bridal Couture, and although i had no MAJOR problems, i would not suggest going there. they have poor customer service and just are very unreliable. a good friend of mine had a HORRIFIC experience there as well (search for zac1228 if you're interested in that story).

I went to both salons last year when I was looking for my bridal gown and although I didn't order my dress from either one of the places, I found the service and the salespeople at Wedding Salon to be much nicer and friendlier. They were rude at Bridal Couture. THe woman expected me to buy the first dress I tried on.
