my dress after tax came to around 900. With my veil and headpiece and all items needed for the wedding it came to around 1300 with tax.

My dress (Demetrios) was about $1500 and I got a 15% discount because they were having a trunk show (maybe it was 10%??), so it came out to about $1300-ish.

I know I have seen the thread but am too lazy to look for it....
now that I am officially going dress shopping on Friday, I guess I should figure out a price range I am looking for....

totallyyyyyyyyy don't mean to offend anyone by asking but I just wanted a general idea.....
I don't even need exact figures, so a range, like $599-$999 is totally fine....
I really like Demetrios and Maggies and just don't want to go too high or low with a price range that I give.......

I just went to the Macys bridal salon with my FMIL yesterday and because it was her first time there, they gave her a 15% discount. I saw a few demetrios a little above your range and with the discount, it may be something to look into. We went to the Salon at Menlo Park New Jersey where there was no sales tax! That's saving 80 bucks.

I got a demetrios dress..it was $1100. I went in there with the idea that I would spend whatever it took to get my dream dress...but never actually told them my budget.

my dress is Demetrios, I spend $3000, but they had dresses that where less expensive, just tell the bridal person what your price range is !

Mine is $2400-$3200.
I definitely recommend letting them know a price range...buuut at the same time I did not love anything in my original price range (max $1500) and had to double that amount to find something I really loved (and that only happened because it was a sample and half off haha)

Mine is in the $3200+ price range - I did tell the consultants I worked with that my budget was $5K but that I was flexible . . . and I'm glad I did because 'the one' was just a liiiiiiiiiiiitle bit over the budget. But since it was 'the one' it had to happen.
