OK, I'm obviously new to this - do men go to bridal expos? I mean, I know they're named 'bridal', but they do have all types of vendor info that many grooms would probably be interested in.

I took my FH to one and it was very similar to torture for him. I personally think you are better off going with a friend or family member because they are a lot more tolerant of you looking at flowers and photo albums, IMO. But, if your FH is into the wedding planning, definitely bring him!

my FH is going to one w/me next week. He seemed interesteed b/c its a probable RH & we can taste the cocktail hour food then, also open bar. I would bring him, he'll have fun.. IMO--if i planned on going to a few I would ask to to go to 1 or 2 & then ask a BM to go....

My fiance and I go together to almost every one out there. He loves them as much as I do. I don't really see a lot of guys there though.

I took FH to one a while ago. He was bored but we learned about different ideas. I won't take him again because I know he was bored.

Lots of couples go together, I think it's good for the both of you. You can point things out to each other as far as what you want to or don't want to do at your wedding.
The guys are usually interested in the tuxes, limos, HM spots, and the band/DJ. So there's plenty for him to do while you're looking at flowers. It's also good for him to look at photographers with you since that's such a big vendor to choose. Plus, if the expo is at a hall it'll give him an idea of the space and food which he'll prob have opinions on when deciding where to have your reception.

I went to one last month at the Aquarium with Fh and a friend. He felt it was pure torture, with the exception of the free food and the bar Needless to say, i won't be taking him along anymore

I think FH would have a heart attack if i made him go, he doesnt have the tolerance or the patience to go, i dont think he will even go with me to register, its ok though, get to do everything MY WAY!
