Does anyone know do you get deals from vendors if you book them at one of these bridal expos? Are they really informative for ideas and deals? Thinking about going to one.

I've gone to a few... They are a little overwhelming lol...it did give me some ideas and some vendors do give you discount cards just for visiting their table. Some of the smaller expos really aren't worth it though.

I have been to a few only because you can win free stuff, but other than that they aren't very helpful. Too overwhelming and they end up calling and e-mailing you afterwards all the time. annoying

You have nothing to lose by going to a Bridal Expo. It's a great way to get a feel of what is out there. You get exposure to some things you weren't even thinking of.

They are definitely overwhelming. I had makeup and hair girls basically join together to have me book a trial with them. I kept telling them I don't live locally and I had no idea when I would be able to do anything but they wanted to write me down for a time anyway. I hope they werent too surprised when I canceled because I was upstate..where I told them I lived...Anyway, I usually go to check out the place/their food first and foremost. If you are not interested in the venue, I feel like it is a bit of a waste of time. With that said you do get to know what the trendy things are out there. I probably never would have insisted on uplighting had I not gone to an expo.

They are interesting, we went to two i think - one at our RH and the other to hear our DJ and pick and MC. it wasnt anything amazing, but definitely something worth doing at least once, i think.

I went to one Expo at the Marriott in Manhattan and I personally thought it was a waste of time.

I went to one in the city and it scared me out of attending any others. It was too overwhelming and crowded. I couldnt get any good info or talk to any vendors.

I went to one a few weeks ago. I thought it was helpful, only because I was able to get a lot of info on different vendors and get price lists etc. I went to one on Route 110, Melville Marriott I think....wasn't super crowded.

I think r best when u go to one at a venue u r looking into. this way u see the place all done up for a wedding, it's why I liked the stonebridge country club but it was too much.
