has anyone gone to Bridal Garden to look at dresses? My friend is thinking of making the trip from maine to ny to look for her dress here. But she wanted to get an idea as to what to expect price wise. Does anyone remember what the prices were like?
TIA!!!

Re: bridal garden
The prices are fair. You cab find something under $1000 or more if you like. Just call them becasue my girls got there bridesmaids dresses there and they said that after october they may not renew there lease. Good Luck!

thank you for the info! That would be sad if they closed because all the money is going to charity!

Re: bridal garden
I think the previous response was for the bridal garden in LI. Not the same one you were talking about. Honestly, I went there and did not find it worth my time. Some of the dresses are donated by the designer but some are donated from previous brides and are used, and not in the best condition. I didn't find anything I liked and I didn't find their selection to be very impressive. It is worth a shot because your friend might find something she loves and I like the idea that it goes to charity but I didn't have any success there.

thank you for letting me know. She has her heart set of Monique Luhllier (sp?) but wont pay retial for it. LOL. So I told her she has to go to Boston or come here and go to sample sales. Then i found out about Bridal garden and wondered if it was worth it for her to make the trip to go there. I spose she could call first and see what they have in stock... and maybe we could also visit sample sales.

I got my dress from the Bridal garden in Bethpage and I have nothing but great things to say about them. If you are thinking of going they are worth the trip.

Re: bridal garden
My Mom got her dress in Bethpage a few weeks back. They are doing major discounts on 'on the rack ' dresses but that's because I heard they were closing in September. I did hear it through the grapevine, but when we went they said they couldn't order us a new dress.
