Bridal Garden

Anyone have/heard of experiences with the below:

(bridal garden in manhattan)

http://www.bridalgarden.org/index.html

People donate their once worn gowns and they resell them at normal/cheaper prices, with all profit going to charity

....My aunt just went to a wedding and the bride got her gown there.

Just wondering....

Re: Bridal Garden

i have heard GREAT things about them.. and honestly most of the dresses have only been worn once as a sample.. in bridal shows and stuff

i have 2 friends that got coture gowns for under 500 bucks! that were amazing

i had planned on going there.. but went somewhere else first where i found my gown that i fell in love with! so i couldnt let that one go

def go try it out.. what do you have to lose.. also all the money goes to a great charity

My BFF got her dress here...basically you buy it off the rack at an insane discount the dresses have been worn in bridal shows and some are really damaged..others look brand new they truly had gorgeous stuff when we were there...its a great way to get a designer dress for less...just have it cleaned and your ready to go HTH (oh and altered prob lol )

I was just there today. I already have my dress but I was looking at their hair pieces (they don't have too many). But i was rather impressed with the place. They have a lot of dresses and they have a lot of dresses coming in. While I was there I think two girls found their dresses (they were beautiful). And plus the lady who was working there today was very very very nice.

Thanks for the feedback!!

I am going to local places next week and I am waiting for Bridal Garden to get back to me to make an appointment. I have no clue what I want so I need to see everything possible!
