Bridal Garden Ltd. and Bridal Reflections

Original post by sandj100304

I was wondering if anyone had any reviews of Bridal Garden Ltd. (and their phone number) or Bridal Reflections in Massapequa for bridal gowns. I am thinking about going on Saturday to look. Thanks.

It's soo strange. I guess it depends on who the salesperson is. I had an awesome experience at Bridal Reflections @ Massapequa!! I ordered my gown there. I had Laura and she was great. I loved that when you make an apt. and get there they ask your price range first. This way I only fell in love with a dress I can afford!! I went to Priscilla of Boston and had no idea that I was falling in love with a $6500 dress until we sat down to order. In most salons I needed an apointment. You cant just walk in. In a shop you can just walk in and try on dresses. I loved the personal attention and the designers that they carried. I am sorry that not everyone had the same great experience there as I had. Good Luck!!

Re: Bridal Garden Ltd. and Bridal Reflections

When I called Bridal Reflections a few weeks agoI was totally turned off. The woman laughed at me on the phone when I told her my wedding was June '05. She said, 'Don't you think its a little early to be shopping for your gown?' I explained that it wasn't since there was a possibility that I wouldn't be in NY again until next December (cutting it too close to order a gown then) and that it was important to me that my mom came. I also told her the gown I wanted to try on, and again I got laughed at when I was told that there was no way it was in my price range. (only $500 more, and honestly I would've gone for it). I was really PO'd but I made the appointment anyway because I really wanted to try on the gown I had seen and they were the only salon in the area to carry the designer. Normally I would've said no way and it would've been their loss on a large sale. We had the first appointment and it was great. We had Darnell and she had a lot of patients. She may have been the one on the phone, which still bothers me a little, but she was really helpful when we were there. IMO that is not the way to be if you're in sales, but not everyone is like me. Anyway, they ended up not having the gown I had gone there to try on, but I did find one and I ordered it. I would go and look. Make an appointment and try to go as early in the morning as possible.

Here's the dress I went with:

Re: Bridal Garden Ltd. and Bridal Reflections

Went to Bridal Garen inBethpage today!! it was great. Collete waswonderful & patiant 7 knowledgable.

I saw one I like while I was waiting, then told her want I wanted, & she picks up that one, without me telling her.
I picked up about 9, so I didn't get to that one till about 6, but it ended up being the one I bought.

she also gave be a bustier to wear, which made big difference,
and no else suggested thata t other stores

And I think all of the ones I tried on were under $1000, but I didn't check the tags on all of them.

I HIGHLY recommend going there.
