do you have a contact with your bridal salon providing for how many fittings you get, what is included etc? or just a receipt?

Re: Bridal gown Contract
Hmm...I'm not sure, good question. Kleinfeld's gave me a whole contract and I read it, but I don't recall anything about my fittings. I'm not sure, but for $400 I should get unlimited fittings!

Mine didn't say anything about the amount of fittings- just the cap.

Same here. Mine doesn't say anything about how many fittings. Just says what the cap for alterations and bustle is and when I have to pay the balance by.

Re: Bridal gown Contract
It's different for every place. Some include it in the price of the dress, some tack it on, like Kleinfeld.
Julybride...you get as many fittings as you need at Kleinfeld..white glove service all the way. I've had 2, and I'm going for my 'try on' fitting next week, then I take it home. Did you start your fittings yet? If you didn't, request Maria Castellano...she is amazing!!

My alterations are capped at $150 and bustle is usually another $100. But I got them to cap alterations AND bustle at $150.

Re: Bridal gown Contract
I got my gown at Bridal Reflections - they cap the alterations and there's a flat fee for the bustle. These prices are on the sales receipt. They will do as many fittings as necessary - I would assume all salons would. You are paying for a service to be done, not by the hour so they should keep at it until it's correct.

Re: Bridal gown Contract
This was a good question - I'd discussed it with the salon prior to ordering, but didn't check to make sure it was written on my receipt in all the excitement of ordering dresses!!
Luckily she DID write pricing in tho on ALL the dress receipts: BP Alt: $35-99 & my gown Alt: $150-$250. Doesn't say how many fittings exactly tho, but since its capped I figure even if they charge me the max they'll do whatever to make it fit correctly for however many fittings it will take.
