Bridal Gown (places to go on a budget?)

Does anyone have suggestions of places to go where many/most of the bridal gowns are $1K or less. I just don't feel it is worth it to spend too much more.

So far I have tried David's Bridal and RK Bridal.

Looking for suggestions in NYC or Nassau county. Thanks!

i know u said nassau but i got my gown at angels bridals in east islip and spent under 850!

I got my demetrios gownf rom Macys bridal for less than 1k...also try paradise bridals they have lots of samples that are less than 1k, as well as fantasia bridal!

What about Lillette's in Baldwin?? My dress was over 1 K, but there are dresses that are reasonable there.

Oh, and ask for Gerri... SWEETHEART!!!

I know Burton's in Melville can get dresses for less money. They have some there but, if you find one you like in another store, chances are they can get order it for you and it would be less.

I'm ordering my BM dresses there.

I don't know of places to go, but Alfred Angelo has alot of nice gowns for under $1000. My gown was only $900. Don't forget that your alterations may cost about $400. So add that to your budget as well.

I am a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding and the bridesmaids dress looks like a wedding gown and it comes in white and it's only $200.

We are getting it without the bow and it looks fantastic on. It seems like a lot of the bridesmaids dresses by WTOO.

I am definitely on a budget also, and I found my gown retailed for $1300 at the Wedding Center in Commack for $850... so that might be an idea for you even though it's in western suffolk. If not, why not try David's Bridal?

do a google search for sample sales in your area. my sister in law got her dress from one in manhattan for only $450. good luck!

Defintely try RK Bridal in the city. I must have tried on 25 gowns there, and almost every one of them was under $1000. My dress was only $820, and I LOVE it. It was by Casablanca. Good Luck!

My beautiful Maggie was 900 at Lillettes, and at Lotus Bridal in Brooklyn. Exact same dress was I think 1300 at Bridal Reflections. There were a couple of dresses I liked at David's, but of course they were the most expensive in the store and were 900, and I just liked others better for the same price. I fell in love with mine, Maggie Sottero really makes some beautiful gowns for under 1K. Good luck!

My dress I got at Macys during a trunk show. It was 1100 and less 20% it came to 1000 with tax.

I'm going to the Bridal Garden on Monday. All designer dresses 75% off retail! And the money goes to charity.

Look for sample sales. I went to one at the Bridal Suite in Bayshore and bought a gorgeous Maggie Sottero Gown and a veil for $368.00. Saved over a eleven hundred!!!

You should go to Beverly Hills Bridal Salon on Church Ave. in Brooklyn. Excellent bridal store with many, many very reasonably priced gowns.

I would try Burtons (not sure what town exactly they are in) but they are willing to match and beat most prices.

I do NOT however recommend Paradise Bridals for anything!

Angel's in E. Islip will always give you a good price and Village Bridal In Babylon. And SHOP AROUND - you like a dress that is $1,200 go somewhere else with the dress designer/number and ask how much they will charge you. I found my dress $300-$400 cheaper elsewhere.
